To CF Moms

You know how your infant pulls for every breath and still manages a sweet smile for you?

You know how your tiny one coughs so hard that she vomits up everything she just nursed, every time?

You know how you do CPT madly, hoping her lungs do not get infected?

You know how you might tearfully tell friends what's going on and ask for prayers but you might also hiss through gritted teeth that it's fine?

Me. too.

  1. This just tugged at my heartstrings. I have CF (so not a CF mom!) but I think all the time that I cannot imagine how difficult it was for my parents, who were in their very early twenties when I was born and diagnosed a few months later. Prayers for you and your CF kids....

    1. Glad to know you and so glad for your prayers. My big boy with CF never was sick so young. He didn't have siblings to catch bugs from. Anyway, she's turned a corner and has kept her nursings down today!

    1. She's better today, Jessica. Still coughing, but not so violently as to be vomiting...

Never had to deal with this with Rees ; he didn't have siblings to catch bugs from.

      Love, A
